Her name is Janis Besler Heaphy, Publisher of The Sacramento Bee.

Before a commencement crowd at California State University, Sacramento, she had the nerve to warn graduates about the White House's attempts to ruin the Constitution in the name of anti-terrorism.

The university crowd booed and heckled her off the stage. Why? To quote Michael Moore, "So they could just get on with their commencement party and not worry about silly things like the destruction of civil liberties."

Media Barrier: Well covered in Sacramento and California. Nationally, NY Times picked up the story and author/activist Michael Moore added the incident to the Profiles in Courage section at michaelmoore.com.
